I have been trying to record on Kristal but I am having latency problems. I am running off a laptop so an asio card is not an option. I am running the first track and playing an electric violin through the mic in to the second track. When the song starts it is fairly close to the timing it should have but the farther it goes into the song, the greater the difference between the tracks. After about a mintute and a half there i a full second delay between the tracks. I also noticed that when I am recording and I hit the stop button, the line that progresses through the song as it plays stops, however the recorded track is actually longer than where it was stopped. I have tried to click on the recorded track (rectangle) to shorten the track to match the first but when I do it just clips the end of the track but leaves the timing untouched. I hope you can understand what I'm saying and give me some help.
