Software Description
DJ-1800 is a complete, self-contained professional DJ system for the Mac. No need for CD players, a mixer, or heavy record boxes. Just plug in your Mac and some speakers, and you're ready to go!
DJ-1800 emulates four professional-standard CD players, with cue, positional searching, pitch lock and bend, and automatic BPM calculation. It also includes a fully-featured software mixer with live and headphones outputs.
DJ-1800 integrates perfectly with your existing music libraries. Your iTunes, iPod and iPhone libraries and playlists are right there on the DJ-1800 interface.
New in v3.2.1
- Implemented a workaround for an issue in QuickTime on Leopard. This issue only affected Leopard users who had the same device selected for both Master and Cue output, and who also had Pitch Lock turned on. With this configuration, starting playback of a second track would cause a short audio dropout on an already-playing track, due to a bug in QuickTime. This is no longer the case.
- A "Loading Track" message is now displayed when a new track first starts to load. This avoids a long "nothing is happening" pause when first loading a new track in some circumstances, especially where BPM, StartPoint and AutoGain have already been calculated.
- CoreAudio "aggregate" devices no longer appear for selection in DJ-1800's output preferences.
