Software Description
MusE is a multitrack virtual studio for Linux. It supports realtime editing of MIDI and audio in an integrated environment.
It has support for LADSPA plugins, Jack, and VST/Instruments among other
things. Numerous MIDI editors are available, including pianoroll, score
editor, and drum editor.
New in v0.9
- Working -old style- automation system, pretty much all parameters should be automatable, audio and MIDI.
- Redesigned Solo/Mute system, works much better.
- Lots of "things" added.
- Lots of bugs fixed.

Don't know the prog but i found this in the tar.bz2
- download source from http://lmuse.sourceforge.net/
- uncompress source:
bunzip2 muse-x.x.x.tar.bz2
- untar source:
tar xvof muse-x.x.x.tar </code>
or if you have a recent tar, you can combine both steps:
tar xvofj muse-x.x.x.tar.bz2
- enter dirctory muse-x.x.x:
MAKE SURE YOU SET YOUR 'QTDIR' ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE
run configure
run make all
- as root run:
make install
to install MusE

I hope I can start with my recent suse version now in the field in which I'm busy, music. A valuable mid and audio sequenser was the reason to try out linux.Are there pages where I can read how to install the program the right way, something for beginners. I even don't know exactly how to unpack such a tar.gz file or whatever it was. Thanks a 1000 times anyway. I will work with it quiet extensively and report you eventual bugs.
