I have problem with a Preinstalled NTI DVD & CD-Maker on my ACER. When I start the program it is telling me "1% was not installed properly, or it was altered. Please re-install the software". But how? I do not have the program on CD or the file on the site. Please help me. I did used this software sice 2005. Thank You

Several years and several pc's ago I had a CD burner that came with "NTI CD Maker" software... I made cds of all my special graphics I wanted to save...
Well I do not have NTI on my new pc and I cannot open the .cdm files. Is there a solution to this problem or am I SOL?

iuVCR is a Windows 2000/XP intended video recording program. Have a TV tuner or a video capture card installed on your Windows 2000 or XP system? Now you can easily record your favorite TV programs and videos in *.AVI or *.WMV format. iuVCR has got a simple and plain interface, allows to capture video of any format, resolution and duration, can automatically start when scheduled and has a number of other useful features.

There is a number of video capture programs in the world but the most of them work quite poor in Windows 2000/XP, as a brand new multimedia technology called DirectShow is used there. The programs not using DirectShow give a rather middling result. iuVCR is a video recording DirectShow-based application. It uses the newest multimedia technologies developed by Microsoft corporation and ensures that you are getting the most from your video capture card.

As any DirectShow application, iuVCR allows to record *.AVI files of any size, overriding a file size limitation of 2GB inherent to old video capture programs. Using Windows 2000/XP and NTFS file system, you can record *.AVI files of size, limited only by your harddisk capacity. CW-R write failure

NTI CD-Maker/Windows 98.
CD-R discs record OK but when I try to open files (Photographs) I get an error message "F:\ is not accessible" "A device attached to the system is not functioning"
This has only happened since I recorded some audio recordings. I have removed the programme and reloaded but it makes no difference. Any ideas please.

CD Player does not recognise .wav compilation

I have had many unsuccessful attempts at creating a compilation CD of converted .mp3 files. I first convert the .mp3's to .wav's using a certain software. The .wav's are then burnt onto a CD-R or CD-RW using various software. These audio CD's are recognised as "audio CD"'s on my E: drive and i can play them as I would normal audio CD's through various audio software on my PC. When these CD's are placed into a standard CD player from a music system the player does not acknowledge the CD and reports that there is no CD in the player. Help!!

I have used software such as dBPowerAmp Music Converter to convert .mp3 to .wav. I have used either WinOnCD or CDRWIN to create the CD's and these methods fail. The CD's ARE closed sessions. I have been told that Adaptec EasyCD Creator is the best software for this purpose but for some reason this software does not recognise my CD-RW, maybe this is because it is on the same IDE as my CD-ROM. Regardless, I still wish to know why I am experiencing this problem of unrecogniseable CD's.

The only time my task has been succesful is when i used software called MP3 CD Maker, this converts .mp3 to .wav and burns all in one go, but unfortunately this is shareware and I can only burn a maximum of 4 tracks. So my CD-RW is definitely up to the job.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of CD's are you burning on to? CD-RW or CD-R. I only ask because, some CD players cannot play CD-RW's and some can. That might be the problem. I've never had a problem with mine playing a regular CD player....provided, I use CD-R's for that.

trial keeps freezing up

Copy Cd

When I do a copy. It copies the first 4 tracks, then nothing after that. I get no error messages however it never gives me a completion window and the door does not open. Even though I have it optioned to do so.I'm run Windows 98 and I have NTI-CD MAKER 2000 Standard I believe it's ver. 40.04. Any ideas??? Help!

Dear Ray,

Try checking our download site or your drive vendor for an upgrade to the latest release. They may not always be available depending on the specific vendor. If an update is not available you can always consider upgrading to the Professional version of our CD-Maker 2000 software. At that point, you would get the latest release along with the additional features provided in our Professional edition. One other thing that may find helpful is that you can contact NTI directly for technical support and future updates to your software.
