Tracktor and vista

I love this program, its great to practise a set on. Although i dont think its very good for live sets unless your using a MIDI controller. If your having trouble using it, try taking it one step at a time. Beginners using version 3.3 should just stick to 2 decks, and just try and mix 2 songs with similar bpm's using the EQ. and try changing when you mix the 2 songs in, also if you want stick a 4/8 bar loop on a driving beat. then mix the next song in. Also keep in mind you can keep the Bpm's matched using the Master and slave buttons on each deck. my msn addy is zylexm@live.co.uk if i am online and you have a problem, as long as you dont spam me i will try my best to help you out. if its a hardware problem try asking customer support at the natives instruments website.

Traktor see only 2 channels

Meybe I miss to saw the Solution in tho other Comments but I've got a problem with the traktor: I used XP before and there was no problem, but now i use Vista and I can't put 4 channels in the Audio Setup/Line Outs menu. So If anybody got the same problem please add your Solution...

I currently use the Traktor DJ program for my DJ Business, and I have run into a problem. I use an external hard drive with thousand of songs on it, I put all my songs in seperate folders, like Rock A-C and D-F etc etc. My Folders acntain for example, 150 songs, but when I go through Traktor and open up that particular folder through explorer, there may only be like 120, some folders I have contain 245 songs, I open it through traktor and get like 178 songs. Does anyone know what causes this, it is annoying, I get a request for a song that I do have but I cannot load it from the traktor list, cause it does not appear. It seems like every folder I load, has some or many songs missing, but I do have the somg available on the Hard drive. I spoke with another DJ friend of mine and he has the same trouble. Is there any way to correct this problem. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SOFTWARE.

Use the cue buttons, You must also go into the prefs and set the ouput 1 &2 to different channels, left and right s you can cue and position the song in one side of the phones and hear the mix in the other.

Traktor dj is F***ing Awesome! - i have no problems with it. It took a few days for me to work out exactly how too set it up (the way im used to mixing on 1200's), but after that, im convinced that this IS the way forward!
I play House music and... boy, people just aint ready for my sets now. :)

there is no way to get it to run on a 800x600 resolution , but it doesnt say anywhere that it requires a 1024x768 minimum resolution , if anyone knows how to make it run in 800x600 give me a shout .. an old crappy monitor wont stop me either way...
