Software Description

Digital Performer 4 users can now use Mac OSX VST Plug-Ins and Instruments with the VST Wrapper 4 by Audio Ease.

Audio Ease's 3 years of experience in hosting VST plug-ins in Digital Performer ensures that VST Wrapper supports the highest number of VST plug-ins, with the most complete VST spec support.

The VST Wrapper 4 supports multiple outputs for instruments, VST bank and preset saving and loading, Sample Accurate MIDI timing, Beat lock and Parameter Automation. OSX VST plug-ins are wrapped to become MAS plug-ins, the original Digital Performer plug-in format.

I've been using Audiodesk for years and AudioEase's VST Wrapper never works correctly. And I mean never. If you check out the Audioease Forum (http://www.audioease.com/support/), you'll see what I mean. It's practically worthless. If you want to run VSTs, get a standalone like Plogue's Bidoule (http://www.plogue.com/) and rewire the thing.

Linplug VST not opening

Linplug VST "RMIV" is not working to well w/ VST Wrapper. When I open my project, DP4 looks for "Drumpad Parameters" before loading. I can't find this Parameter, so I can't open many projects. Similar issues w/ RMIV? Any other VST Wrappers to use with DP4/mac that I can try????

to know if it was capable of runnig the
digital performer program. It's an apple
mac2 (ll). please respond and let me know if this the right one for the job.

Nick,
You state the model but not the version of o.s.
or ram amount- Although it seems you should be able
to run Performer ver 5.02 successfully.
