Does anyone know where I can find web browsable software to run music? I have music on one PC and the sound is channelled out from that in to amplifiers around the house for multi room audio but I have to use remote desktop if I am to select the music which means whoever is using that PC gets logged out.
I need something similar to the home automation browser/server software that is available but for music! (P.S. media centre is out of the question with its slow response times and unreliability)
Please help

Why do they have to log out? Set up playlists that all users can access in winXP and select one from whoever is logged in. The alternative is a seperate computer dedicated to your sound environment.
Somebody is going to have to be logged in... |

| If I am on a networked PC upstairs and I wand to controll the PC that is connected to the multi room amplifier. The only way is via remote desktop. this loggs the person using the PC, or others that are connected to it over remote desktop, out. |
