| I'm a newbie all the way around: Haven't held a guitar in 20 years; Never been in a recording studio; Have music in my head that I must exorcise. What freebie, cheap-o software will give me a toy to play with (e.g.; to try plug-ins, make rythmic noise, etc)? |

| I still don't get it. I've been fudsting around with plug-ins and hosts, and stand alones.... oh my! I still haven't created the next great rock opera... And the music in my head is SO damned good. I'm waiting for my Novation midi/synth keyboard to arrive... That'll fix everything... I hope then the notion of making palatable music from all these cool, knob encrusted gadgets will become clear. Thanks for your input. |
