Hey Im Simone! Im 13 and for my whole life Ive wanted to become a singer! Ive always wanted to life the life of a singer, preforming live on stage and everything. I know I am good enough i know i can succeed. The problem is that money is tight so i cant go to a recording studio. I would like to know if theres anyway to record songs at home for demos.

First go to see a professional vocal instructor.
If you are good enough they would be able to help
with microphone, breathing and presentation techniques.
As for home recording 'Audacity' is a freeware multitrack
recording program available from this site.
Checklist:
Computer.
Soundcard. Duplex if you want to record the vocal with music backing,
so you can hear the music while you sing.
Audacity.
Microphone. Preferably a dynamic to reduce handling noise.
Practice. Practice. Practice. |

There are three types of singers.
Those that can.
Those that can't.
Those that think they can.
That applies to musicians too. |
