Hi, First of all let me say, i love music, but am not musical in any way, however, my son is very talented. Having only been playing any instrument for 3 yrs, he is already accomplished on the keyboard, marimba, vibe, drums, and is learning guitar now.
What I am trying to find is a program that will allow him to play his music into a mic connected to the computer, record the music, and also transpose it into musical notes as it is played. If there is such a program could you please lead me in the right direction.
Thank You. |

Hi if he plays piano or flute, searh for MELODY program at www.myriad-online.com
it is a french program that capture notes as you play on a midi keyboard. you can dowload it, prove it and if it fits your son's needings, you'll pay 15 Euros or so for the full program
there is another program called soloexplorer. thie program is is a wav to MIDI conversion, automatic music transcription (recognition), and score editing software for Windows. it costs 70 USDLLS but you can ty it...
