Every time I press "record" to lay down vocals or a guitar track from a microphone, the track "sputters" and "stops" while it's recording, making it IMPOSSIBLE to lay down a track. It's strange.....
The recording doesn't stop all together, just gets caught up or tangled like the computer is trying to process it....is it the BUFFER? the LATENCY?...how do I correct this?....I use REASON 2.5 to make my beats on and if something like this happens on that program, I just adjust the latency and it's ok. But I have tried adjusting the latency on ACID and no luck...
Give me the specs on your computer and I may be able to help you. At this point I suspect that you are experiencing a lack of resources, but I need to know what we are dealing with here.
