Are there any good free noise-reduction VST plugins that work well with Audacity? I'd love some recommendations and/or other peoples' experiences. All I want to do is clean up some frankly awfully distorted live recordings.

You could translate it but it's easy enough to work out which are the noise removers. http://membres.lycos.fr/jeje1999/plug.htm Or http://www.aodix.com/pagestardust.html also a few might be of use at at http://www.digitalfishphones.com/ Demo wise, I'd try Wavearts MultiDynamics.
