I've recently started to dj using mp3 files, and would love to have the ability to know what key songs are in easily. I know that you can do this buy tinkling away on a keyboard and trying to jam along, but unfortantly my keyboards broken and i'm not that talented in that way. So does anyone know of a program that will tell me the key of an mp3 file.

Yep, and for an added look of realism, you could plug a digital tuner into the system. Might be a situation where you have to get the key before the show, but it may work to where you cue it up and it reads out enough information to get the key.
