I know I can do it i just need the help to get there... if anyone can offer any advice or help I would Love it!

If you want to get anywhere go to a voice teacher who either majored or minored in music at college, not just anyone who wants to take your money. thats the most important thing. dont try to skip that step. dont copy people on the radio. they dont have proper tecqunike for beginers.
after along time when you know how to do things the right way then its ok. join your schools/churches choir. practice daily but not too much. you dont want to over work your throat. when your throat gets alittle tired or scrtchy stop and give it a long break. dont force your sound or tighten your throat when singing. all the effort and sound should be in your diafram.
if theres tention in your throat your doing it wrong. your windpipe is just a way for the sound to escape, not where its made. and NEVER GIVE UP! singing is fun. always sing for yourself first. when you try to push your carear it looses all the enjoyment and theres no point in that. |
