I think every question should be answered if there is
someone who can answer it.
In your case it seems to me that you are in the wrong spot.
Correct me if I am wrong oh powers that be but to me this
site is more for helping people who have questions or problems
with the programs they are using ON their pc's rather than WHICH
pc they are using.
I would suggest that you go to a reputable dealer and ask them.
What do you need the laptop to do?
Do you need it for audio work?
Do you need it for graphics?
Do you need it for gaming?
I'm no expert on different systems but it seems to me that
some are more suited for some things than others.
Hope this gives you a few clues.
Cheers. |

Personally I like the Lenovo laptops. They perform well and even the internal drives can handle audio and video. You can get USB and Firewire ports on them so connecting external gear is easy.
Of course this is from personal experience, your mileage may vary. |

If I were the OP I would look into what is the difference between a MAc and whatever version of windose is on the Viao as an operating system...HUGE.
Then I would ask myself..."self, what kind of software do I require? Is it available on Mac AND Win x or just one or the other?"
And then I would go to sleep. |
